Linda Clement graduated summa cum laude from Weber State University on May 1, 2009, with a bachelor of arts degree in piano pedagogy, having been voted “Outstanding Graduating Senior” by the faculty. She studied privately with Dr. Ralph van der Beek, and completed her senior recital in January, 2009, where she played works by Bach, Beethoven, Albeniz, Rachmaninoff, Schumann, and Prokofiev. A previous piano pedagogy student of Dr. Yu-Jane Yang, Linda teaches privately in her home and in the Piano Preparatory Program at Weber State University. Linda completed an associates degree from Ricks College in 1983, and has been a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music for over 15 years, as designated through the Music Teachers National Association (1994.) Linda has served on the Davis Chapter Board of Utah Music Teachers in various positions throughout the years. A recent co-presenter of "Group Teaching 101" at the 2009 MTNA Atlanta national conference, she also co-presented at the state UMTA conference in 2008.
